And here I am… Graduated. Waiting for everybody else’s names to be called but nonetheless graduated. An official adult I guess. Though I’ve come so far already it seems there is so much more to learn. Will this never end?
My last 24 hours as a longhorn student have already begun. Tomorrow I graduated from The University of Texas and will become an alumni of the school that has made my college experience a memorable one. So, here’s to the Thursday nights on 6th st, skipping out on every possible Lonestar activity and endless days with my best friends. I will definitely miss college.
My last day here at work before I leave for Dallas and I got the warmest goodbye. Everyone was called into the office, a usual for birthday celebrations, and I was presented with a Happy Graduation cake from everyone! sooo sweet! I’m proud I’m graduating but more excited to just be home!
Today the office assistant is gone and I am filling in. I came in confident and my outlook drastically changed as calls began flooding in. I had to connect and transfer calls. Now i’ve heard of assistant being completely slammed for disconnecting a call or transferring it incorrectly so I was scared. For two straight hours my heart beat out of my chest. However, I am happy to inform that I have it down now. I am happily busy and counting down the hours till I’m out of work and that much closer to flying back to the state I oh so love. Can’t wait to see my Tejas any everyone that goes along with it.
Just saw Wilfred being filmed at Venice Beach.
Suprisingly, a life sized dog didn’t stick out at all.
What a weekend.
I am so excited for next weekend though when I get to go home!! I miss Texas and my family and friends.
